That was great

Gordon Freeman is the best actor ever! Nice animation lol

TmsT responds:

I know, he should have his own talkback radio show!

Well...

The animation was wonderful and I liked the choice in music.
But the acting was a serious flaw. It was like listening to Ben Stein doing a speech.

Where was the emotion? And it was so soft spoken that you could barely hear it over the music at some points. It just made it...boring.

I think if you could step that up, your next creation could do much better. still a nice job 3/5

Matt-G responds:

I'd listen to Ben Stein make a speech.

So following up from the last part

Interesting idea, great use of the first person perspective(I liked that) You had a little bit of humor (shooting the tree branch...got a chuckle out of me) I noticed one the the last reviews said somethign about how loose the rifle sling was....yeah that and he cocked the rifle before he started moving initially...why? And then again before he fired it (reminded me of Counterstrike) With a loose fitting sling like that, all that needs to happen is the weapon getting caught on a bush somehow causing the trigger to get pulled and you shoot yourself in the butt-cheek =D I liked the fact that he put the scope on before firing, allthough that point sight probably wouldn't be too good for long range firing.

The sound wasn't bad, but as I said in the other review...the voice acting needs a little work. Your Foley artist did a good job at lining up the gun shot sounds when they hit their targets.

Pretty entertaining little movie you guys. Good job, and maybe we will see the next one.

X-Aldin responds:

Again with the honest in depth review. Even if the score isnt all that high, i really appreciate the thought you put into it. The voice acting was sort of supposed to be corny, and you can credit Mattyx for the timing being well done. The sniper scene wus actually fun to do because the guys out in the distance just acted, all the shooter had to do was keep the camera centered on the guy that was going to die next.

Anyways, i hope you can check out our past and future submissions too!

Not bad so far...

The acting could use a little work. Did anybody have any wardrobe plans or did they just use what they were wearing when you started production?

We will see how it unfolds in the next half, but so far it is worth checking that part out.

X-Aldin responds:

Lol acting has never been our strong point, but eh we try. We did not have wardrobe plans even though we have always thought about trying to find good costumes. It is actually difficult. thanks for the honest review.

Hah Hah

Great movie. It actually looks like you did some research on these little guys. The camel spider(wind scorpion) belongs in the whip scorpion family which are actually tail-less scorpions. the have no claws except a couple of palps which are a tad sticky. They do actually chase soldiers around simply because they are trying to get in the shade. They are aggressive little buggers and have one the the most powerful bites of all the different bugs. I found a couple of these before and they are pretty fun to have. Great job.

Falconer02 responds:

Thank you! Yeah, I read that their fangs are bigger than their head-- something only found is this species.

great movie fellas

This looked like something more interesting than the front page stuff till the "two guys screwing a watermelon" bit took place. i voted for a blam. your artwork looked great and the story looked interesting. what was up with the video clip?

BassClef responds:

Revrent: Fuck You

You just didnt appreciate the watermelon part. Really listen to it and feel the music and feel your heart and body. Its art..

I feel it in my penis:D

As other's have said...

the animation has to be truelly amazing or unique to get a decent score using stickmen. I know they are a lot easier to draw and animate, but they arent really acknowledged by a big majority of the audience here on newgrounds. your 1,000 pound death did get a chuckle out of me though just so you know. but the other ones werent really anything special. the flow of your animation was ok though so you know how to animate just try something a little different. if you like animating you can come up with something better, just put time into it.

SolidShrimp responds:

Well it IS my second flash

Very interesting

A little repetative, but very creative. I like the originality you got there, hell you might as well put that beat in the audio portal.

StealthBeast responds:

the audio (http://www.fpsbanana.com/?section=viewitem.sounds.sounds.main.193) is not mine. I did not create it. I'll ask the creators if they are going to submit it when i bring it up, if not ill ask them if I can.

nice

Allthough I bet the clock crew wasn't too thrilled with it nor the star syndicate. But yuh killed the madness guy =( Either way it was a great submission and I will have to check out the next addition. Good work you guys.

MACception responds:

Thanks dude. We'll keep doin' this, and keep pissing off the clocks and star syndicate. It's just so FUN!
